"Science Against Superstition" Published
A book titled Science Against Superstition has been published by a local publishing house to promote belief in fact over fiction.
The book was jointly compiled by the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the Department of Publicity of the CPC Central Committee and the China Association for Science and Technology.
It contains Marxism's fundamental ideas on science and the CPC' s practice on science-oriented belief.
The book analyzes why superstitions such as the officially- banned cult Falun Gong have become so widespread. It also clarifies definitions of religion and superstition.
