China's Securities Market Appreciates

China's securities market appreciated Tuesday, after Monday's slight decline. The Composite Stock Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 1,925.544 points, up 26.452 points, or 1.39 percent from the previous session.

The Component Stock Index on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange gained 103.65 points to finish at 4,825.79 points, 2.2 percent up from the previous session.

The two markets reported a turnover of 16.015 billion yuan and 16.948 billion yuan for A shares, respectively.

The Shanghai B Share index went up 0.75 points to close at 54. 56 points, while the Shenzhen B Share Index finished at 720.03 points, 0.78 points up from the previous session.
