Chinese Vice Premier Meets Jordan Prince

Vice Premier Qian Qichen exchanged views on the international issues of common concerns and Sino-Jordan relations Tuesday with Jordan Prince El Hassan bin Talal.

Qian gave an positive view on Sino-Jordan cooperative relations, and voiced his hope that Hassan's China tour will promote bilateral relations.

Qian also briefed the guests on Chinese domestic situation and Chinese government's principled stance on the Taiwan issue. Hassan expressed his willingness to devoted to promoting Jordan- China relations and friendship between two peoples.

Hassan is visiting China at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
