Shaanxi to Host Cross-Straits Agriculture Hi-tech Industrialization Symposium
Cross-Straits agriculture high-tech industrialization symposium, a major exchange program projected by Shaanxi with Taiwan compatriots in 2000, will be held in Shaanxi on June 12 to 16.
Centering on an exchange of cross-Straits agriculture high-tech industrialization information, the symposium aims to attract investors, induce Taiwan agricultural economy sources' investment and cooperation, promote agriculture technology innovation and research and expedite agriculture industrialization in Shaanxi.
More than 100 representatives will attend the symposium including 60 personages from Taiwan. Over 60 outstanding essays dealing with agricultural development and other related subjects with a high academic value will be delivered at the symposium as is reported.
Sponsored by Shaanxi people's government, the symposium is a major exchange endeavor approved by Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.
In addition to reports and speeches and activities to go on-the-spot inspection, an investment trade fair will be also held during the symposium.
