China Issues Stamps Designed by Children

The Postal Administration issued a set of stamps designed by eight children on June 1, International Children's Day.

The designs of the eight stamps, named "Prospect of the 21st Century," were chosen from over ten thousand submitted by children in a stamp designing competition launched by the administration in June 1998.

It is also the second in a series of stamp sets issued by the administration featuring the new century.
