An international forum on electronic- commerce is to be held in the northern port city of Tianjin on 15 and 16 of this month.
Major topics to be discussed at the forum include the development prospects of e-commerce, policy framework for growth of e-commerce, international cooperation in developing e-commerce, and role of medium- and small-sized enterprises in developing e- commerce.
The forum is expected to attract experts from foreign governments in the Untied States, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Canada and international organizations such as the World Trade Organization, European Union, and the World Bank, businessmen from some renowned information companies across the world, and domestic officials and experts from the central government and local governments.
A declaration is expected to adopted at the forum to facilitate and promote the growth of e-commerce in China and around the globe.
