CAPD Central Committee Standing Committee Holds Meeting
The Standing Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy (CAPD) Central Committee held a meeting here from May 31-June 1.
The participants stood up to express their condolence for Zhao Puchu, the late honorary chairman of the CAPD who died on May 21. During the two days, the participants discussed the country's multi-party cooperation system under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
Xu Jialu, the chairman of the CAPD, recalled the party's achievements in political consultation and democratic supervision. The CAPD is one of the eight non-communist parties in China.
