DPRK, Britain Agree to Develop Bilateral Relations
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Britain agreed to develop bilateral relations at talks here from May 16 to 20, a spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.
The spokesman, in an interview with the Korean Central News Agency, said the two sides conducted detailed discussions over a variety of issues in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and confidence.
"We will as ever make positive efforts to develop relations with all the countries which respect our sovereignty and are friendly to us, including Britain," the spokesman said.
