Vice Premier Wen Jiabao Meets IMF Executive
Vice Premier
Wen Jiabao
met Tuesday afternoon with Shigemitsu Sugisaki, deputy managing director of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and his party.
Wen briefed the guests on China's economic situation and development strategy, financial system reform and other issues.
They also exchanged views on the enhancement of cooperation between China and IMF and issues of common concern.
The guests are here at the invitation of China's central bank, the People's Bank of China.
