Prices of Raw Materials in China Up

The latest figures from the National Bureau of Statistics show that China's raw materials prices went up in March.

The price index of total raw materials in March was 104.79, taking that of the same month last year as 100. The price index stood at 103.61 in February and 102.10 in January.

The price index of fuels and power stood at 115.69 in March, representing the biggest price hike.

Prices of farm and sideline products suffered a decline during that time, with a price index of 94.75, the lowest of all products.
