Premier to Visit Japan In October
Premier
Zhu Rongji
said Monday afternoon that he would like to pay an official goodwill visit to Japan in October at its invitation, in order to boost Sino-Japanese friendship and cooperation.
The remarks came in a meeting between Premier Zhu and the secretaries-general of the three coalition parties of the Japanese government.
In return, Hiromu Nonaka of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party said that the Japanese government and Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori highly value at and look forward to Premier Zhu's visit to Japan later this year, and Japan will make full preparations for the visit.
