China to Modernize Housing Industry
China will vigorously push forward the integration of housing buildings, promote the formation of large housing industry groups and strengthen setting relevant standards for housing industry and the construction of information networks in order to expedite the modernization of the country's housing industry.
It is reported that from this year, along with the wide-ranging unfolding of the reform of the housing distribution system, the commercialization and market-oriented degree of the nation's housing are being speeded up, and the public strongly demand more quality and marketable houses. But presently, there exist some lagging factors in the development of China's housing industry and the industry is confronted with the problem of all-round reform.
Analysis shows that at present and for a fairly long period of time to come, China's housing industry will remain at the stage of rapid development. Now, the main tasks involved in the central plan for accelerating the modernization of housing industry include the following aspects:
Firstly, pushing ahead integration of the housing construction system;
Secondly, keeping a firm grasp on setting housing industry-related standard;
Thirdly, supporting and promoting the establishment of large housing industry groups; and
Lastly, paying attention to construction of housing industry information network.
