Aeronautics University to Help Airforce Train Personnel

China's Air Force has lately signed with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronauts an agreement to entrust the latter to help train personnel in need by this arm.

Airforce officials had their say that Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronauts specializing in aeronautics has been in a position well placed by its disciplines, faculties and personnel training to meet the requirements of the country's airforce.

In accordance with the agreement, the university will recruit students from senior high schools and with scholarships offered by the airforce, the students, after finishing their university life, will go to render service in the airforce.

Graduates who excel in study can likewise be recommended to the airforce. As to those who go further for postgraduate study or doctor's degrees, they can work in the airforce for a period of 1-2 years. During the 1-2 year army service they may still keep their qualification as students and are allowed to go back to take up study in the university, and after graduation, they will be sent back to work in the airforce.

Postgraduate education will also conducted by the university to help the airforce according to agreement.
