Chinese Kids on Line

The Beijing-based Children's Foundation of China Thursday opened a special website: www.chinakol. com, for the country's youngest Internet surfers and their parents.

The site provides visitors with information on popular science and other areas of interest to children and parents.

So far, seven special links have been created by the new website on issues such as school, recreation, and parenting.

Donations are being solicited via the website to assist the Spring Bud Program, a national endeavor that helps female school dropouts in poverty-stricken areas.
