Earthquake Hits Liaoning Province
An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted the area between Xiuyan and Haicheng in northeast China's Liaoning Province at 7:44 am (Beijing time)on May 24.
The earthquake followed one in the same area on November 29 last year, with the epicenter located at 40.4 degrees north latitude and 123.2 east longitude, said meteorologists.
According to the Liaoning Provincial Meteorological Bureau, no property damages or economic losses have yet been reported.
