Israeli President Weizman Meets PD Delegation

Ezer Weizman, president of Israel met with the Delegation of the People's Daily, headed by Shao Huaze, president of the paper, on May 24.

President Weizman expressed welcome to the delegation and disclosed that Israeli troops had withdrawn completely from Lebanon by early morning. He reiterated that Israel would persist in pursuing the peace process in the Middle East no matter what happened.
