Hotel Management Giants Increase Presence in Shanghai

BASS, a well-known multinational hotel management group, has signed an agreement recently to manage the New Asia Tomson Hotel in Shanghai.

This is the 24th hotel managed by BASS in China.

A BASS source said that his group is confident in the local market as the Chinese economy develops rapidly.

BASS is managing a total of about 1,900 hotels in some 60 countries.

Currently about 20 multinational hotel management giants, including Hotel & Resorts, Accor, and Okura, are managing more than 30 of Shanghai's hotels.
