BOC Raised Funds from Abroad to Help Hydropower Construction in Sichuan
The Bank of China (BOC) has lately borrowed a loan from abroad of 220 million Francs as funds in support of the construction of Zhile Hydropower Station in Sichuan Province.
A large-size power station to be projected on the Nanya River, a tributary of Dadu River, Zhil Hydropower Station will be built with a generating capacity of 588 million kwt/h in the way it will help improve local power supply and push the advance of economy in Sichuan.
The funds raised by BOC from abroad, being loans of a mixed type, with 80% from the French government and remaining 20% provided by France Natexis bank and Banque Nationale de Paris, will be utilized to purchase impact hydropower generators.
