Over 1,000 Doctor Students to Volunteer for China's West Development

The All-University Network (Beijing) Technology Co. Ltd. donated 2 million yuan on May 20 toward the end of helping more than 1,000 doctor student volunteers launch a west China development activity jointly organized by the Publicity Department of CCCPC, the Ministry of Education and the All-China Students' Federation.

The over 1,000 doctor students from about one hundred Chinese higher education institutions will form 100 volunteer teams to go to the west to help promote culture, technology, sanitation services in western China. Preparatory work has now been in full swing in various universities and colleges to help those of participants to start on their way.

A website launched by the All-China Students' Federation has already been available to publicize the activities and promote tech cooperation and exchanges of personnel between universities and the areas of west China.
