Australian soccer's club glamor side, Perth Glory, will visit China in August and September. Glory general manager Roger Lefort Monday said in Perth the team expected to play one match in Shanghai and two others in provincial centers between August 25 and September 3. Lefort added that Glory's opponents were expected to be a Chinese national league team and Chinese club champion Luneng Taishan.
Perth Glory, in only their fourth season in the Australian National Soccer League, reached the final rounds last season, and headed the table after the current season's qualifying matches. Glory is coached by former East German national coach Bernd Stange.
