Tibetan Leader Meets Australian Guests
Raidi, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Regional People's Congress, met on May 19 with Carry Nehl, Cice Speaker of House of Representative of the Australian Federal Parliament.
Raidi expressed his gratitude for the Australian government's donation of two million Australian dollars to the Tibetan Autonomous Region to help control the problem of iodine deficiency disease.
Raidi said during the meeting that China is a country with many nationalities, and the development of Tibet relies on the help of the Han majority and all other nationalities.
