Fudan University to Enroll College Students Out of Armed Police Force
More than 80 armed police will be enrolled into Shanghai Fudan University, a prestigious institution of higher learning in China this September to start their four-year university life. They will be the first group of university students that the Chinese People's Armed Police Force (CPAPF) entrusts Fudan University to train for the Armed
Police Force.
The police enrollees will study as college students as well as military men in service in Fudan University. During their study, the CPAPF will offer tuition, daily life expense and allowance to subsidy them. The students will receive military training during their study in the university.
Fudan University has also been entrusted by CPAPF to enroll 40 students with competence from 8 provinces including Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Hubei, Hunan, Shangdong, Henan, Yunnan and Shaanxi to major in philosophy in the university. After four-year study, these students, with diploma and academic degree certificates granted, will be arranged to work in units under CPAPF.
