Large-Area Strange Stones Discovered In East China
Thousands of strange stones, some look like huge elephants, lions and tigers, some like peacocks, ducks and other birds, were recently discovered in Yicheng of Zaozhuang city in east China's Shandong Province.
The strange stones are located in an area of some 33 hectares. Local officials say that they never saw such concentrated strange stones before.
"We are going to put the strange stones under protection," said a local official.
