Beijing University Students Get UNESCO Award

Three students from Beijing University have recently been awarded by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in an international poster design competition, with the theme of preventing and prohibiting the illegal dealing of cultural relics.

Hu Yuan, Lei Yong, and Zhou Shuanlin, all graduate students from the Archeology and Relics college at Beijing University, produced a picture "Don't Cry, Dragon", which expressed concern for cultural relics around the world.

These students said that they chose a wall with dragons on it from Summer Palace.

They took pictures at the Summer Palace and made the poster with photoshop software.
