Vice Premier Meets L. American Diplomats
Vice Premier Qian Qichen met Thursday with a delegation of diplomats from Latin American and Caribbean regions.
Qian said that although China is far away from the Latin American and Caribbean regions geographically, China is committed to pursuing friendly cooperation with the countries in the region.
Qian also briefed the guests on China's current situation and expounded China's policies on various issues.
Edmundo Sussumu Fujita, head of the delegation, said that the delegation has witnessed the great progresses China has scored in many fields, and the visit is a success.
He said that most Latin American and Caribbean countries stick to the One China policy.
The delegation is here at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
