Barbados PM Visits Hangzhou
Barbados Prime Minister Owen Arthur left Beijing on Wednesday afternoon for Shanghai to continue a six-day official visit to China.
During Arthur's stay in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang province, he met with Secretary Zhang Dejiang of the Zhejiang provincial committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) .
Hearing a briefing on the situation of the province and its economic development, Arthur expressed the hope that the Barbados people and the people of Zhejiang will further promote mutual understanding and friendship.
Arthur and his party also toured the West Lake and the Ling Yin Temple today.
