Liu Wins 100m Butterfly Title but Not ContentedAfter two years away from Chinese swimming pool, Olympic runner-up Liu Limin showed her supremacy again in the women's butterfly, but admitted she was not content with her winning result.Liu, who returned from America's Nevada University in late March, calmly tightened the screws in the second half and claimed the victory in the 100m butterfly with a time of 59.86 seconds, 0. 75 faster than her nearest rival Ruan Yi last night at the national swimming championships. "I am happy I reached the Olympic standard, but the result was below my expectation," said Liu, who blamed for her relapsed rhinitis and lack systematic training since she came back home. The 24-year-old Liu won the first swimming gold medal for Nevada University at NCAA last year and completed a gold-double in the butterfly this March. "I swam 59.15 in the 100m and two minutes 9.43 seconds in the 200m in the United States lsat August," said the Asian record holder. Liu's coach Zhao Ge, the national team head coach, was also disappointed:" I had predicted she could swim within 59 barrier. However, I have to say her result is OK after such a short time of recovery." Liu will bid for her 200m butterfly Olympic berth on Thursday.
