About one million Chinese children are expected to learn about Internet in a computer competition show on the coming International Children's Daily on June 1. Jointly sponsored by 11 government bodies and organizations including the Ministry of Information Industry, Ministry of Public Health, and All-China Women's Federation, the competition is designed to popularize the use of Internet among the Chinese children as part of the quality education program adopted in the nation.

This will be the 11th computer competition show held to mark the Children's Day in China. More than ten million children have participated in the annual event during the past ten years.
