Northeast Province to Host Sculpture Exhibition
Scores of noted sculptors from both home and abroad are expected to gather in this capital of northeast China's Jilin Province this July to work on an annual sculpture exhibition.
To date, a total of 54 sculptures have been selected for the exhibition, including 21 from domestic sculptors and 33 from overseas artists.
The sculptors will be invited to the city's Victory Park to work on their sculptures this July, which will be on show at the exhibition in September.
This will be the fourth such exhibition to be held in the city, which has become an annual event since the first sculpture exhibition was held in 1997.
A total of 111 sculptures have been carved in the city for the previous sculpture exhibitions.
