China donated 60 trucks worth 3.2 million U. S. dollars to Uganda on Friday.
These trucks will be distributed to all districts throughout the country, and the impact of the contribution of the Chinese people is to be felt by Ugandans at every corner of the country, said Andruale Awuzu, Ugandan State Minister for Works, Housing and Communications, when addressing the handover ceremony.
Awuzu expressed the gratitude to the Chinese government, saying the donation came out of the fruitful bilateral relationship between the two countries.
China's ambassador to Uganda Zhang Xujiang attended the ceremony.
