2000 Art Expo to be Held August in Beijing
The annual China Art Expo has been scheduled to be on August 11-15 at China International Exhibition Center in Beijng, as is reported.
Initiated in 1993, China Art Expo is a grand show of international art and art pieces China is going to hold. There are already 7 like expos having been held in China. Previously, the expos were held in a way that had attracted the largest population of visitors, displayed the richest exhibits and have thus exerted an in-depth and extensive influence on Chinese society.
All preparatory work has been fully carried out by now and there are large numbers of artists and organizations specializing in fine arts both from China and abroad to take part in the expo. Typical is the France delegation, which participated in the last two expos, has been reported to be organizing a stronger-than-ever lineup for the impending expo.
In addition, a monograph entitled "China Arts Expo" will be off press soon, which elaborates on the expo from various angles like history, cultural influence, academic achievements, market results and social responses.
