CPC Senior Official Meets Cuban Visitor
Ding Guangen, member of the Political Bureau met Friday with Rolando Alfonso, member of the Cuban Communist Party Central Committee.
Ding, also head of the Department of Publicity of CPC Central Committee, said that the two parties share the same ideal and faith. The two sides have maintained long-term friendly cooperative ties, he added.
He expressed his appreciation for the achievements Cuba has scored in the development of socialism under the leadership of President Fidel Castro and the Cuban Communist Party.
Alfonso, also head of the Department of Ideology of the Cuban Communist Party, said that during his visit, he had held talks with departments concerned of Chinese side, which helped to enhance mutual understanding and trust between the two sides.
Furthering the cooperation between the two parties and two countries is in the interests of the peoples of the two countries, he added.
Alfonso is here at the invitation of the Department of Publicity of CPC Central Committee.
