High-tech Promoting Chinese Agricultural Modernization
Bio-Engineering and Information technology are playing an increasingly important role in changing China's traditional agriculture, a Ministry of Agriculture official said in Beijing Wednesday.
Experts said that the agriculture industrialization which emerged in 1990s has brought profound changes to agriculture in China, with agriculture becoming closely related with industrial and service sectors.
China has 405 high-tech agriculture parks and modern agriculture pilot zones, which have become a new growth factor for agriculture.
