Website on Bamboo and Silk Documents Research Opens
A website for researching documents on bamboo and silk opened recently in a bid to delve into ancient academic bamboo and silk documents which have been buried for over 2,000 years.
The website, launched by the World Bamboo and Silk Document Researching Center, has opened six volumes, including bamboo and silk documents, an index, and academic news, all of which will reinforce exchange and understanding of bamboo and silk documents research.
To date, over 1,000 people have logged onto the website, which continues to update the latest research achievements on bamboo and silk documents.
With the excavation of bamboo books which existed during the Warring States (403 BC. to 221 BC.) in central China's Hubei Province, academic magazines related to bamboo documents have become bestsellers in some academic bookstores. The website is: www.bamboosilk.org.
