"Press Industry: Facing Challenges from the Internet" Seminar Called

"Press Industry: Facing Challenges Arising from the Internet" seminar was called in Beijing May 9, as is reported. Co-sponsored by People's Daily and Australia News Corporation Limited, the seminar was attended by leaders of over 10 media organizations from China, Australia, UK and the US.

Attendees at the seminar were mutually briefed about situations on their news media, network programming, advertising, publishing and distribution while going in for an exchange of views and studying into various problems facing the press industry from a boom of the Internet.
