Shanghai to Hold International Clothing Manufacturing Expo
The sixth Shanghai International Clothing Manufacturing Expo will be held on May 10-13 in Shanghai. An international expo on the knitting industry, Knitting China 2000, will be held in Shanghai as well. The Expos will be sponsored by the Shanghai Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Shanghai Textile Corp.
More than 100 well-known companies from China, the United States, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, the Republic of Korea and Singapore, as well as from Hong Kong and Taiwan Province will attend and showcase advanced machinery and designs. A number of seminars will also be held.
China produces 20 billion garments every year.
