Premier Zhu Rongji Meets Outgoing and Incoming Ambassadors

Premier Zhu Rongji met with three ambassadors who are leaving Beijing soon and another eight ambassadors who have just arrived to take up their posts. The three leaving ambassadors are Ora Namir from Israel, Octavio Errazuriz Guilisasti from Chile, and Mario Freddy Boerd Soria from Bolivia.

The eight new ambassadors are Riaz Khokhar from Pakistan, Olagunju Adesakin from Nigeria, Einars Semanis from Lithuania, Ksawery Burski from Poland, Juma Rashed Jassim from the United Arab Emirates, Humayun A. Kamal from Bangladesh, David Taylor Irvine from Australia, and Charles Asilia Sanga from Tanzania. Zhu expressed thanks to the departing ambassadors for their contributions to promoting bilateral relationst between China and Israel, between China and Chile and between China and Bolivia. He also expressed admiration for their hard work and efforts.

Zhu said China will help the new ambassadors in every possible way to carry out their duties in promoting bilateral relations.
