China Basic Education Website Launched
A large comprehensive website, dedicated to providing basic education information, China basic education website was launched lately.
Yu Jialu, vice-chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and other personages from the Ministry of Education (MOE) attended the start-off ceremony of the website. Sources say launching of the website will play an active part in helping China deepen its education reform, promote quality education, carry out the strategy for revitalizing the nation through spreading knowledge about science and technology.
China basic education website, co-sponsored by Beijing Normal University and Basic Education Teaching Material Development Center under the MOE, is a great move for MOE to spread basic education information in China.
China basic education website presents 7 first-class programs including "Education News", "Policies and Regulations", "Curricula Reform" and others like "Students Online", "Teachers Online", "Parents Online", rich and colorful in content. The website fully shows China's guidance to basic education. "Education News" releases daily news about education; "Policies and Regulations" publicize newest policy, regulations, documents, with a basic education policy databank provided.
