Chinese High-tech Enterprises Scouts For TalentA Talent Fair opened in Beijing on May 7, attended by 160 enterprises from 14 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China.Many renowned high-tech companies including Legend, Qinghua Ziguang and Beida Qingniao set up booths at the fair eagerly scouting for software and internet engineers as well as web designers. A special booth was set up for enterprises from China's western regions, which also attracted a large number of applicants. "The country's strategy for developing its western regions has created favorable conditions for recruiting talent," said Ye Jun, deputy-manager of an electric company in western Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. "We are confident of recruiting a lot more talent, as more opportunities for them will emerge," he said. The fair is part of the Third Beijing International Week for High-tech Industry, which opens Monday. |
