On-line Tourism Complaints Get Prompt Response
Any complaints about the tourist services in north China's Shanxi Province? Log on to www.sxta.com. cn, and your gripes will be promptly addressed.
The website, launched last November, is the first in China to handle travelers' complaints online. Visitors to the site are asked to fill out a complaint form online and send it to the site, which is operated by the Shanxi Provincial Travel Administration Bureau.
The website also provides information on local scenic spots, travel agencies, tour routes, and some travel tips. More than 200 people browse the site every day, said representatives from the travel bureau.
