Congress "Steel 2000" Opens in Beijing

The largest ever international steel conference in China has opened in Beijing.

"Steel 2000" features a symposium on steel development strategy, covering topics such as policies, trade, financing, environmental protection and e-business.

Six other symposiums on technologies will also be held.

Over 1,000 delegates from more than 20 countries are attending the five-day event.
