Defense University Becomes Cradle of Military Talents
China's National Defense Science and Technology University recently granted academic degrees to 300 Ph. D. and Master students, becoming the leading military science training center in China.
Since the university resumed enrollment of post-graduates in 1978, 3,735 master-degree students and 333 Ph.D. students have graduated from the school.
The university attaches great importance to students' ability of research and innovation. Students have taken part in a large portion of the 3,400 research items carried out by the university.
Among researchers of the Milky Way ultra-large computer system, 60 percent were post-graduates. Some have won the Science Progress Prize while they studied at the university.
