Indian Army Denies Reports It Kills 9 Pakis

India Wednesday night denied reports from Pakistan that nine persons were killed in artillery shelling across the Line of Control in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir.

Refuting the reports, an army spokesman said that the Indian armed forces had been retaliating Pakistani fire and aiming at army installations only.

The reports had claimed that the incident took place in Chakoti sector, north of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir.
