Inner Mongolia and California to Establish Sister Ties

The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China and the U.S. state of California have decided to establish sister-ties to further promote their friendship, according to officials of the autonomous regional government.

An agreement to finalize deal will be signed in California, the regional government officials said.

The two sides will also sign a series of cooperation agreements involving cashmere garments and products made from the element thulium.

Inner Autonomous Region and the California state have similar conditions in the areas of agriculture, power and tourism, and the new sisterly-relationship will help expand trade, business, cultural, and educational connections between the two sides.
