Defending Champion Shandong Luneng scored 3-0 whitewash over Tianjin Taida. There are five teams tied with 15 points after eight rounds in the 14-team home-and-away-league. Shanghai Shenhua, lost 2-1 on Sundaly, saw their five-game winning streak was snapped by three-time champion Dalian Shide. The two sides were the only teams to win the pro league title beside Shandong. In other games play on Sunday, Chongqing Longxin defeated Qingdao Hainiu 1-0.
