On-Line Long-Distance Education At Beijing University
Beijing University has opened a website focusing on long-distance learning on April 29.
The website: www.beida-online.com will provide distance learning programs to one million people, according to Qi Lifeng, manager of the website.
He said that the website, which will be officially put in service on May 4 this year, can also be used as a digital library and a scientific data bank.
Beijing University is also one of the several leading Chinese universities developing high-tech industries.
