Yi beat Janet Lee 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 and Li Na nipped Tai Lan-lan 6- 2, 6-0. Indonesia defeated Singapore 3-0 to finish second in Pool B with a 4-1 win-loss record, followed by Chinese Taipei with 3-2.
