China adopts Law on Prevention of Air Pollution

The Law on the Prevention of Air Pollution was adopted before China's top legislature, the National People's Congress Standing Committee, ended its five-day 15th session in Beijing Saturday.

Under the law, the Chinese government will take effective measures to encourage and support scientific research and technological progress for the prevention and control of air pollution.
