Fair on Tourism Commodities Opens in KunmingA trade fair and design contest on tourism commodities opened on April 28 in this capital city of southwest China's Yunnan Province, hoping to become a tourism magnet in China.As a major part of the China Kunming International Tourism Festival which opened April 10, the five-day fair and contest was hosted by the National Tourism Administration and the provincial government of Yunnan. More than 650 enterprises from a dozen of countries and regions will attend the Fair. They will display more than 1,000 varieties of tourism commodities at over 600 exhibition booths. Kunming successfully hosted the '99 World Horticultural Exposition from May to October last year. |
