Ministry of Personnel Launches Training of Public Servants for West ChinaThe counterpart training of the public servants between departments in east and west China started recently. This important move taken by the Ministry of Personnel to tap talent resources is designed to build a high-quality specialized public servants contingent for the large-scale development of the western region.It is reported that the western provinces receiving training aid include Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang, as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction corps of the PLA. While the nine eastern provinces and municipalities providing training are Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong and Guangdong. The public servants receiving the training are mainly deputy heads at or above the division level who are in charge of economic development planning and macro-economic management and the deputy magistrates responsible for economic development in the western regions. |
